It’s that time of year again where it’s cold in most of the country. Instead of the same old bulky jacket check out this high tech new one from Heacket. It’s a heated jacket that uses three heating zones and some new tech to keep you warm.

While electric heated jackets are nothing new, here’s one from Bosch and one from DeWalt, Heacket claims their is the most durable heated jacket on the market. It was designed for those who want to still live an active outdoor lifestyle even in the cold winter months. The Heacket jacket features a wind and water resistant outer layer but it still remains light. No need to dress in layers that are bulky and hinder movement and performance.

The heating wire used is not only durable it’s also water-proof and 100% machine washable. Heacket claims once activated the jacket becomes warm within 3 seconds and the Li-ion battery lasts up to 6 hours. If you like to hike, fish, cycle, hunt or you just want a better way to stay warm this jacket might be a good idea for you.

The jackets are available in various colors for both men and women. To get your own jacket check out their Indigogo page to back it, their first batch should be shipping soon.
