I’m shopping for a new muzzle brake and was considering giving the Lantac Dragon Muzzle Brake a try. I stumbled upon a few good review videos during my search, check em out below. Has anyone else tried the Lantac Dragon Muzzle Brake yet? From the videos it looks pretty effective, it’s not an inexpensive muzzle brake however at $120 shipped on Amazon.

The 1911 is the quintessential American handgun. The original design is over 100 years old and is still going strong. When John Moses Browning designed the 1911 there were no pistol lights or Picatinny rails however. If you wanted to light up what you were aiming at you held a flash light in the other hand. These days most handguns include tactical rails up front to mount lasers or pistol lights. What if you have an older styled 1911 that doesn’t have a rail? Well the folks at Recover Tactical have the solution with their CC3 1911 Grip & Rail System.

This amazing story of an Aimpoint PRO red dot was posted over at Recoil recently. It really shows just how durable Aimpoint’s products are.
“I lost pretty much everything,” he says.
Aside from all his family’s other possessions, he lost three firearms in the blaze. But, he reports his Aimpoint PRO mounted on a Spikes lower/BCM-EAG lightweight upper frankenrifle somehow survived the fire. That’s it in the inset photo of his rifle above, red dot glowing defiantly. Aimpoint found out about it and already swapped it for a brand new optic and with a plan to display the survivor in its museum.
“Here’s a picture of my AR after it was recovered from my house fire after being exposed to the elements for over a month in late February to mid March,” said Riddell. “The rifle was at the core of the fire.”
He said the rifle sat in the water and ice leftover from the firefighters, exposed to the outside in sub zero Wisconsin winter. Weeks later, Riddell was allowed to look through the wreckage after the fire investigation was complete. He found his melted pile of a rifle covered in ice, rust, ash and mud in the debris. The polymer rifle case it was stored in had fused to sections of the rifle, as well. He pried open the eyepiece cover on the PRO and turned the knob. And, it lit up.
“Had I been willing to trust firing the gun,” said Riddell, ” I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if it held zero.”
There’s no doubt that George Lucas was heavily influenced by old Japanese Samurai movies when he wrote Star Wars. Jedi Knights were largely based on the Samurai of old. The sport of Kendo has its roots in feudal Japan as well, what better way to merge Samurai and Jedi than having a Kendo match with lightsabers? Check out the video below of two Kendo practitioners going at it with lightsabers. This is so bad ass they should use lightsabers all the time for Kendo matches.
Well there’s your issue. Maybe they prefer short radius AK type sights?
