Magpul recently debuted their new X-22 Backpacker Stock for the Ruger 10/22 Takedown. The drop-in stock makes the 10/22 Takedown even easier to transport as is allows the user to connect the foregrip and barrel to the receiver and butt stock for easy transport. The buttstock even has a hinged storage compartment for an extra mag and ammo. It’s a very well thought out all-in-one solution. If you’re building a rifle you’re going into battle with or you’re betting your life on, get an AimPoint, Trijicon or even an EOtech. However, if you’re building a rifle just for plinking at the range of if you’re just shooting a .22lr then I’m all about saving some money and getting a budget red dot sight.

I stumbled upon this budget friendly red dot that retails for a really low price on Amazon. Most of the reviews are pretty positive.

Check out this Smith & Wesson M&P pistol after it had a kaboom a.k.a a catastrophic failure. It was posted over on the Teufelshund Tactical Facebook page. According to their post it was an ammo related issue.
