WTF Mythbusters? While I’m sure it’s an honest mistake by the production crew, it’s still a pretty big oversight. I actually enjoy watching Mythbusters because of their love for shooting stuff. Don’t let this happen again Mythbusters crew!

New Kel-Tec 3 Barrel P333AT

It looks like multi-barreled handguns are getting popular, first the Arsenal double barrel 1911 now the new three barreled Kel-Tec P33AT. What’s next, a Glock with four barrels?!

Cocoa Fl – There’s no denying that the market for concealable pistols has been hotter than ever, but the move toward smaller and smaller pistols meant consumers had to trade in power for size. Kel-Tec, the American leader in underpowered, tiny pistols has solved this issue by packing more gun into their guns.

Introduced at the 2012 Weapons Trade Forum (WTF), Kel-Tec was proud to announce the upcoming P333AT

“After the IWA show in Nuremburg, Germany, we realized there was a high demand for multi-barreled pistols like the Arsenal Second Century 2011,” said Clarence Koalapee, PR Spokesperson for Kel-Tec. “George was looking at the monstrosity and was like ‘Hell, if they can do two, why can’t we do three?’ We came back to the states, got right down to work on a prototype. It’s a little rough around the edges, which means it’s practically ready for production!”

The P333AT (pronounced Pee-THHHHHRRRREEEEEEE-Ay-Tee) delivers a stunning amount of firepower, launching three 90 grain projectiles at a time in roughly the same direction. “The .380 isn’t known as a one shot stopper, “ continued Koalapee, “but three of the SOB’s are bound to really piss someone off.” With the regular P3AT being diminutive in size, Kel-Tec didn’t seem overly concerned with the major increase in size. “We’re adding, what? 6 more ounces? Damned thing will still fit inside a front pocket.”

When asked about the potential issues behind firing three cartridges at the same time, Kel-Tec responded that they felt the P333AT would be just as reliable as any other gun they’ve put on the market, three rounds at a time or not.

Kel-Tec CEO George Kellgren was quoted as saying “Let them [censored] over at Ruger copy this mother [censored].” Ruger responded by announcing a recall of its soon to be produced LCPPP.

If you couldn’t tell already this is a joke, it was posted over on  blog.robballen.com.

Savage Firearms Developing An AR-15

Rifle maker Savage Firearms tweeted last week about their new AR-15 that they have in the works along with a mockup drawing. While the AR market is already completely saturated, let’s hope they can bring something to market that’s more unique, maybe an AR with a Accu Trigger?

I saw this video over at Gunmartblog, it’s back from 2009 but it shows just how reliable Glocks really are. These guys buried a Glock 21 for 2 years in the mud, dug it up and shot 500 rounds through it without a single malfunction. Rusted trigger spring, internals and all.

Super Fast Samurai vs a BB

Guinness World Record holder Isao Machii is fast with a katana, really fast. The video segment below from Stan Lee’s Superhumans shows Isao slicing an airsoft pellet in midair traveling over 200 MPH. If he can slice a tiny BB going that fast imagine dueling him with just a bokken at the dojo, no thanks I’ll pass. Check out just how quick he is below.

Arsenal Double Barrel 1911

There have been many versions of John Browning’s popular 1911 pistol, from double stack 1911s to Spartan themed 1911s. Here is a 1911 that would make Mr. Browning facepalm. Arsenal Firearms is releasing a double barrel 1911, I kid you not. It’s looks more like two 1911s put side-by-side really, which also looks very impractical. I don’t know, maybe there’s a market for it.

The AF2011-A1 Double Barrel Pistol comes actually as the very first industrial double barrel semiautomatic pistol of all times. The original idea came about ten years back to Swiss armourer Vivian Mueller, who at the time experienced cutting and welding together multiple parts of the famous Sig P210: the result was a long slide, double barrel 9mm, highly decorated collector piece, which indeed shot very well.

Our idea took the challenge further: to commemorate the legendary Colt 1911-A1 in the Centenary by making a true industrial market-ready double barrel .45 caliber pistol. We achieved success in the brief span of 6 months, after intense and round-the-clock 3D designing, stereolithographic modeling and parts machining.

The gun can be handled by any shooter able to shoot with a .45 Acp and it is not only very pleasing, but very accurate and great fun. The AF2011-A1 holds amazing and surprising target performance for the shooter: in fact, it will group all the 8 double .45 caliber rounds (16 bullets) held in the duplex, single columns magazines, in a target of the size of an orange at 15 yards and of a water melon at 25.

The stopping power of the AF2011-A1 is tremendous: 2 bullets for a total of 460 Grains weight impacting at 1 to 2 inches apart (depending on the distance of the target) will knock down a bull, while the whole 18 bullets, for a payload exceeding 4000 Grains, can be delivered to the target in about 3 seconds.
