GunEye HD360IR Camera

The GunEye HD360IR is a wireless smart camera that attaches to universal rail systems and provides a so-called “Secondary Sighting System”. Connected to your mobile device, the camera provides you with a HD real-time audio and video recording while keeping yourself hidden behind cover.

The GunEye Target App offers an on-screen crosshair for accurate aiming paired with automatic night-vision within the 30-50+ feet range. Developed in 2016 GunEye will offer this patent-pending innovation at a MSRP of $389.00.

Getting to see and test this durable device up close at the SHOT Show 2020, we found that this would be especially useful for home-defense scenarios while providing a video recording of the engagement for legal reasons. Diamondback Firearms DBX in 5.7×28

Diamondback Firearms came to SHOT Show 2020 bearing news in the form of the DBX 57 BGB AR-pistol. Chambered in 5.7x28mm this semi-auto platform weighs in at only 3.7lbs without the 20-round FN Five-SeveN-compatible magazine.

It should be noted, that Diamondback Firearms plans to release a second AR-pistol that will be compatible with Ruger-57 magazines in the near future. It comes equipped with a side-folding arm brace that puts the pistol at a length of 16.9” folded and 25.4” extended, making it a viable option for home-defense scenarios.

Other stats include a standard AR-15 “mil-spec” trigger, Magpul MOE-K grip and an included Magpul m-lok handstop.

The charging handle can be mounted to either side making the DBX 57 BGB an ambidextrous pistol platform. The threaded barrel measures in at 8” length and comes with the newly designed DBX muzzle device.

Testing out this AR-pistol at the SHOT Show 2020 range day reinforced some of the promising features this platform offers.

The gun’s light weight made it very deployable and comfortable to use. The 5.7x28mm is a capable cartridge on a short-barreled already familiar AR-platform, so it has a very natural manual of arms for most users.

Looks like Geissele is in the optics game now, they just released their new Super Precision Optics line of rifle scopes for SHOT Show 2020. From their email:

The Super Precision 1-6 by Geissele Automatics is a robust 1-6x26mm rifle scope designed specifically with the AR platform in mind.
