Chris Kyle, a former US Navy SEAL and the most lethal sniper in United States history (160 confirmed kills out of 255 claimed) was murdered at a shooting range in Glen Rose, Texas, about 50 miles from Forth Worth on Feb.  2nd 2013. Eddie Ray Routh shot Kyle along with Kyle’s friend Chad Littlefield at the Rough Creek Lodge. There is no known motive for the shooting, however it was said that Routh suffered from PTSD and was taking part in the non-profit group FITCO Cares that Kyle helped to start, a group that helps veterans suffering from PTSD.
