These days ammo is in short supply and priced pretty darn high, so it’s always a good idea when you can save some rounds when sighting in your firearm. A while back we posted about this .223 laser boresighter deal, I picked one up myself for my recent AR build and it made sighting in my new optic easy as pie. Just point it at your target (I started at 25 yards to get on paper) then adjust your cross hairs or dot accordingly. They make laser boresighters in other calibers too, but I stumbled upon this universal laser boresighter at under $27 shipped. The Bushnell Laser Boresighter includes 7 adapters for calibers from .22lr up to .50 cal as well as 12 and 20 gauge shotguns. It uses three LR-44 batteries that are also included.
Sure you can sight in the traditional way, but this handy boresighter is just plain easy to use and will pay for itself after a few range sessions just from the ammo you’ll save, especially if you shoot more expensive high-caliber rifle rounds.

“Lasers cannot be shipped to New York City; D.C.; MA” WTF? A boresighting laser? I’d love to know the rationale here.
I’m guessing it’s a local law of some sort. Doesn’t make sense, but so do many of our laws.
