I’m a fan of the Mosin Nagant rifle. It’s affordable, reliable and ammo is cheap. I’m not a purist when it comes to modifying historical firearms, I’m ok with modern add-ons and upgrades. But this Mosin Nagant pistol grip on Amazon has to be one of the most useless mods I’ve ever seen.
According to the listing it “increases operator comfort and weapon performance, Providing more control during firing while reducing fatigue”. What boggles my mind is not how one would use this with their Mosin, but that according to the listing over 40 people actually purchased this. If it helps you improve your shooting more power to you, I just don’t see it.
Anyone actually use one of these?
I personally think it looks stupid, but hey, it’s your gun.
This would be useful for me since I shoot left handed. When it is retracted, the bolt does not clear my left hand and I have to break my firing grip. Although I’m not sold on the molded finger grooves (they never seem to feel right), I will probably buy one of these to try it out – and I would LOVE to have one for my M95 Steyr straight pull – it would be incredibly fast with a pistol grip!
I am more interested in the scope mounting system pictured..
You would be suprized how many people love Metal Gear Solid and would get this for an accurate remake of The End’s sniper rifle, yes I am one of them, I would shoot it, but its moreso just for fun. At least on my part.
It would be easier to buy a rifle tactical stock and grip combo for a remake of The Ends rifle.
the angle looks a little awkward. like it’s at or over 90 degrees from the bore plane. I can see it, i just wonder if it actually works. i’m not a fan of molded finger grooves. they never feel like they are in the right place.
