Marlin Lever Action Kaboom

Having your firearm explode is no fun, especially when someone gets hurt. A Gunnit member posted about his Marlin lever action rifle chambered in .444 Marlin that went kaboom. While it’s not exactly clear what caused the failure, split barrels like that usually are caused from barrel obstructions. He also posted a picture of the damage to his hand, it looks pretty bad so hopefully he makes a full recovery.

  1. Looks graphic, but thankfully also superficial, I hope, from what I can see. Gonna hurt like the dickens for a while though. I hope that was the extent of his damage and he heals up quick.
