Here’s a smoking deal on a set of 45 degree offset backup iron sights for your AR-15. If you’re running a scope on your AR and need a set of BUIS these offset ones should do the trick. They feature 1/2 MOA elevation and windage adjustments, 7075 aluminum construction, an ambidextrous design and are the same height above the rifles bore as standard M4/AR15 iron sights.
The best part? They’re only $25!
Edit: It seems like the price fluctuates lower and higher than $25 on the Amazon listing every so often, be sure to view the “More Buying Choices” section for the lowest price.
I have a set on my competition rifle, and they work great. The finish is not as tough, and they are aluminium, not steel. I replaced the mounting screws, works great I’ve used them to a hit a 24″ plate at 200yards.
They have some wear and tear, the finish is easy to fix with a sharpie!
Wow that’s an awesome deal
Amazon reviews state they are made in China, and that there are a very close replication of a more expensive set made by Dueck. Also the front post may not be threaded to spec as someone has tried adjusting elevation of front post and or changing it out with poor results. May have been one instance of QC. For $25, I will give them a try (just ordered).
I had wondered if running magpul buis on angled picatinny mounts so that they wouldn’t be constantly snagging or putting holes in the guncase like these would… but 70-80 dollar flip ups plus angle mounts a 25-40 each… this may be the cheapest solution. Will see if it survives a 3 gun match
Please let us know how they hold up for you, I’ll be ordering a set soon for review as well. Thanks!
