Padgett qualification range

The United States Army is once again looking for a new sidearm, but this time they’re considering one chambered in something other than 9mm according to ArmyTimes.com.

Why go through all the trouble and money on trials and testing, here’s a pistol that’s ready for service…

The Glock 21 in .45ACP, done.

Yes, but the only way to know it’s ready for service will be to test it in, like, in a trial or something. /blonde

In all seriousness, I would be surprised if any gun company creates a new pistol for these trials. It will probably be nothing but a bunch of pre-existing designs (like the Glock 21) submitted for consideration.

    • You’re right, I was just trying to be a smart ass about it. There are plenty of great handguns on the market today that would make great candidates.
