The United States Army is once again looking for a new sidearm, but this time they’re considering one chambered in something other than 9mm according to ArmyTimes.com.
Why go through all the trouble and money on trials and testing, here’s a pistol that’s ready for service…
The Glock 21 in .45ACP, done.
Half the military can’t handle the 9mm.

Just saying…

Yes, but the only way to know it’s ready for service will be to test it in, like, in a trial or something. /blonde
In all seriousness, I would be surprised if any gun company creates a new pistol for these trials. It will probably be nothing but a bunch of pre-existing designs (like the Glock 21) submitted for consideration.
You’re right, I was just trying to be a smart ass about it. There are plenty of great handguns on the market today that would make great candidates.
