Remember the Simpson’s episode where Homer used his recolver to turn off the TV? Well now you can do that but with an awesome replica of a phaser from the original Star Trek series. The universal remote control has 36 different commands and plays 10 different phaser sounds and comes in a pretty boss looking display case. It goes for $150 and is available for pre-order over at the Star Trek Store.

The Original Series Phaser comprises a small, hand-held Type I Phaser, which slots into a larger Type II Phaser body with a removable pistol-grip. The combined unit (Type I and Type II together) feature a wide range of settings and beam strengths. In both the TV series and the films, Phasers are carried by Starfleet security personnel and by all starship crewmembers on hazardous missions.
