Heizer Defense recently unvieled their new Doubletap pocket pistol. Made out of titanium (or aluminum), the lightweight compact pistol was designed with self defense and concealed carry in mind. Heizer claims their Doubletap is the slimmest and lightest pocket pistol on the market coming in at a mere 14 ounces and just .665 inces wide. It’s chambered in either 9mm or .45 ACP.

It features a a no-snag hammerless design and carries two rouns in the chamber with two more rounds stored in the grips. The break-action features a progressive barrel porting option that Heizer claims cuts muzzle rise and recoil which also automatically ejects spent shells. The Doubletap is expected to be released sometime in the first quarter of 2012.

  1. I would like to buy one of these. What gun stores in Dallas, TX stocks them. I checked at Ray’s and they don’t carry them.
