Welcome to Armory Blog!
We’re a gun news blog dedicated to all things guns. We were established in 2009 by a few guys who have always had a passion for firearms and the shooting sports. We try to cover all aspects of the firearms industry and review the newest gear on the market, with a little bit of humor thrown in for good measure. We’re glad you’re here, feel free to browse our reviews and news articles and leave us your thoughts and comments.
So who is behind the Armory Blog?
Ray – Editor-In-Chief, Photographer and more!
Ray started the Armory Blog back in 2009. He comes from the tech industry where he used to blog about video games and iPhones but has always had a passion for firearms. Instead of covering the same old tech news he decided to throw his hat into the gun blog ring when he noticed how boring and drab most gun sites were. It’s been a few years since Armory Blog was established and it’s seen a tremendous amount of growth!
Rudy – Writer
Rudy joined Armory Blog soon after it’s inception and has been the resident gun reviewer. Rudy has been passionate about guns since the first time he shot his father’s .22 rifle when he was a kid. He now competes in competition and can be found out at the range just about every weekend. Stay tuned for future gear and gun reviews he has in the works.
Gabrielle – Writer
Gabrielle is an IT professional who’s major hobbies include photography, climbing, and firearms. She is currently pursuing a career in forensic technology for law enforcement. With a passion for tinkering, you can always catch her dialing in her guns or trying out a new piece of gear at the range.
Nino – Writer
Nino joined Armory Blog in 2015, he specializes in gun smithing how-to articles and new product reviews. Nino has been a long time gun enthusiasts and he enjoys AR-15 and AR-10 builds. In his free time Nino practices mixed martial arts and drawing.
Nathan – Writer and Photographer
Nathan has been part of the Armory Blog team since the beginning. A Las Vegas native, Nathan has been a firearms enthusiasts for over three decades. He comes from a law enforcement and military family and has always had a passion for firearms.
Jonathan – Contributing Author
Jonathan D’Souza is a resident of California, and a contributing author to the ArmoryBlog. Jonathan brings his extensive knowledge of military surplus firearms, out-of-production ammunition, obscure/obsolete ammunition, old-timey pocket knives, and essentially any gun that can only be viewed in a museum. Despite his FUDD-like tendencies, Jonathan is an ardent support of Second Amendment, and the rights that the Second Amendment bestows on all Americans. In addition to his enthusiasm for firearms, Jonathan is an avid outdoorsman and a connoisseur of desserts (or frankly any delicious sugary food that is likely to induce diabetes).
Stephanie – Photography and Videography
Stephanie joined Armory Blog to work alongside her older brother Ray the editor-in-chief of ArmoryBlog. From growing up in a family of gun enthusiasts, the sibling duo spends their weekends in gun ranges or the desert where they shoot for fun and work simultaneously. She produces picture content and videos for posts related to products and reviews.
Philip – Writer and Photographer
Philipp is a law enforcement officer in Germany and our newest member here at ArmoryBlog. He writes from both abroad and in the States. His affinity for firearms and the ability to work with a diversity of guns is realized in his annual vacations to America where he works with the ArmoryBlog team and brings a fresh perspective.
Want to join our staff? We’re always looking for like minded people with the same passion for firearms as we do to join the Armory Blog team. Shoot us an email and tell us about yourself. We might even let you carry all our gear and camera equipment at the next SHOT Show!
