Most of us know John Moses Browning was the genius behind iconic guns like the 1911, Browning Hi-Power and Browning M2 .50 cal machine gun all of which are still in use by various police departments and militaries around the world. Those were just the tip of the iceberg, John Browning developed quite a few guns in his time, here’s a list of his most notable designs.

He didn’t just makes guns, he also developed the following cartridges:

.50 BMG

Browning was the da Vinci of his time, many of his gun and cartridge designs are still being produced and copied to this day. Check out a few posters of John Browning available online, I have them up next to my work bench as a tribute to the man who created some of best guns ever invented.

  1. One of the greatest firearm inventors in history. Some of his weapons are still being used today by the military and civilians are a great testament to his designs.
