The M1 Garand is one of the best battle rifles ever invented, just ask General Patton, but there hasn’t been a good way to mount any sort of optics or scopes to it. Well Ultimak has changed that with their new optic mount for the venerable M1 Garand.
You can use any IER (scout) scope, holographic or reflex sight their Ultimaks new mount as it makes use of a Picatinny rail that clamps directly to the barrel for added stability and accuracy. The kit weights a total of 6.16 ounces, 3.92 ounces more than the M1 handguard it replaces at around 2.24 ounces.
